From the President; Gary

The opening day we had a large crowd, which was unusual. This is not typical, but we will have to make sure we comply with the Corps and NH Governor until further notice.

"Good Afternoon Gary, I am sending this message regarding some of the larger crowds that have been seen on the air field. Please make sure everyone is aware that we have to follow the State policy of no more than 10 people in a group, all staying 6 feet distance from one another. We have been informed that the weekend crowds are exceeding this number and we do not want to get to the point of having to send people home.

Maybe you can set a schedule or make a signup sheet for certain days to minimalize the people that show up to the field to fly."

The flying field is now OPEN!!!

Log in and look under “Our Club” for the gate combo.

Park passes will not be required this year.

Social distancing is required while in the Park. AND THERE IS A LIMIT OF 10 PEOPLE IN A GROUP

I strongly suggest using the Club Calendar to schedule flying sessions.

The Concord Aeroguidance Society (CAGS) is an Academy of Model Aeronautics chartered club (#761) established many years ago by a group of like minded hobbyist who inspired to excel in their sport. As the sport has evolved over the years so has our club in both membership and skills.

The CAGS' Air-Field is located on property maintained by  the Army Corp of Engineers.  It is part of the Everett Lake / Hopkinton Dam project known as Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, N.H. Our field is noted as one of the largest and best manicured fields in all of New England and simply draws some of the best pilots in the area to come fly their planes & helicopters.

We welcome the following types of aircraft (not all inclusive): gasoline, nitro, electric, helicopters, park flyers, giant scale, fixed wing and free flight. The air-field offers many amenities such as: a covered shelter, a carefully manicured grass runway, grass pit area, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, barbeque grill, frequency board, full size windsock, picnic tables, portable toilets on site, radio impound area, safety fence, set-up/start-up stands, storage shed and a gated entrance.

Spectators are always welcome but there is a $5.00 fee charged to non-members by the Army Corp to enter from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

For more information please don't hesitate to contact our Club President.
